Initial Production Paper Work to be Signed off!

In our group we had a certain amount of paper work to complete so that we could get the project approved. We decided to delegate certain tasks to each group member so that we could all have an input but also so that we could get it done in time to start filming. The four tasks were risk assessment, Schedule, Treatment and Synopsis. We would have also had to do location permissions but since our piece takes place solely on campus where we already have permission as students to film this was not necessary for us. Thankfully we did complete all paperwork to a good enough standard and we were able to get it all signed off and approved. Here is our paper work:

4. Identify potential hazards; who could be affected; how they could be affected; and list the control measures that will reduce the risk. University H&S policies can be found here.
Hazards or hazardous activity
Who may be affected?
Crew, actors, participants (documentary), crew, helpers, public.
How may they be harmed?
Type of injury or health problem that might result i.e. cuts, bruises, fractures, electric shock, burns etc.
List the control measures you will put in place to reduce risks from the hazards to an acceptable standard
Control measures should ultimately reduce the overall risk. Do not purely rely upon providing Personal Protective Equipment or rely on just ‘being careful’
Evaluate the probability and consequence

L = might happen, but unlikely
M = could happen
H = will probably happen
Indicative values for C column  (C = Consequence)

4. Synopsis (Completed by TJ)

«The Hunt for The Campus Cat» - synopsis

The Hunt for The Campus Cat, a contemporary, detective documentary, tells the story of J. Callahan, a hard-working, hard-smoking, 1920s-detective, on the hunt to solve a seemingly unsolvable case - who, what and where is the Campus Cat? A student documentary team follows Callahan as he desperately tries everything to investigate this mysterious feline, and it’s origins. After multiple interviews Callahan discovers that there might be more to this case than he originally thought. Is the cat even real? Could there be more than one cat? Or could it simply all be an illusion created by tired students, desperate to feel a connection to anything living?
