- Banksy is an anonymous street artist from Bristol who has made his mark in the world of art with his rebellious and distinctive opinion towards current issues and society. It is this bold artwork that I admire.
- I relate and agree with his work and a lot of his opinions that he expresses. He is trying to reflect obvious yet unresolved social problems back to the world but in a more taboo way.
- He reinstates freedom of speech but instead of communicating with words he uses obvious symbolism to make more of an impact. He opposes conformism.
- I love his way of thinking and I find it even more engaging that he is almost like a masked crusader! We still aren’t fully aware of his true identity but he doesn’t want you to be. The whole purpose of being masked it to prove that freedom of speech isn’t a truly free thing anymore. Otherwise he would tell you who he was.
- He has gained more and more respect in the world of art from his many fans but also from fellow artist such as Damien Hurt who own his artwork. This is because they all fight for a common purpose. Art that speaks the truth and is real to the current world.
