Choosing my Final Self Portrait

After completing my second set of edits which were much more successful I then needed to choose a final which I would print and present. I went through my images thinking about them in terms of composition and most importantly meaning. These are the three favourites which I limited it down to:

Edit 1 Colour:

I really love this one because of how the shapes of the flowers flow with my body and blend with me really well. Also I think the message is clear as well.

Edit 2 Black and White:

I love the textures created in this edit because of the black and white. I also think they add a really graceful element to my body. I feel like the message was soft but clear in this one.

Edit 10 Colour:

This was a slightly darker one but I really love the patterns the branches create across my face and body. I feel like it gives a bolder statement about my personality being fiery and passionate.

 I then got opinions from my colleges and friends etc to see which image appealed to an outside viewer. I found that most peoples favourite was Edit 1 Colour at the top. This is because it blended the best but had a clear message. Therefore this is the one which I am going to print for my final.
