Immersion - Image analysis

We began looking at photography images and how you start to decompose them. We used a lot of examples but the one which was most strong to me was this image:

'The boy in the Burnt out furniture store'

Before we even started to analyse it we listed all the questions that we found ourselves asking about it:

This then helped us to look at analysing the image in much simpler terms. This is because we then worked our way through the list of questions answering them in group discussions. We also found that everyone was answering the question in slightly different ways which reinstated to me the importance of remembering that everyone interprets things differently and as a practitioner this is crucial.
