What became apparent to me after making this mind map was that it was what was inside people that interested me more than just the aesthetics of people. This mattered to me even more because its a self portrait project so I knew I had to be the centre of attention. Personally I feel that it is someone's personality that means the most and also the idea of emotions. I wanted to find a way to combine the deeper side of me with the almost fake image of myself so the layering of images seemed to be a common technique that kept reoccurring in my thought process. This is where I want to begin with my research and exploration.
