Resolution 1, Storyboard Artist Meeting 2

I had scheduled a meeting with my storyboard artist for the 01/11/17 so that I could discuss with her the changes I had made to my idea and brief her on some new images I would then need her to draw for my new storyboard. In order to prepare for this I re-watched my pre-vis experiment and followed my storyboard while doing so analysing how I could try and make it flow better and also add people like I had now decided I wanted to. Here are the points I noted down while analysing this which help me prepare for my meeting:

- I need to try and keep the effects fluent throughout so maybe need some more layering shots and mirroring shots.

- The effects could progress as the piece becomes more chaotic and picks up in speed. I could match this speed and help the flow by having body movements layered and cut in which match the speed and effects build.

- I could use the body as a tool to gesture and dance out symbolic movement which matches the imagery. I could also create unique shapes which I can then visually manipulate to match the piece in an abstract way.

- I want to make the shots all flow as they do at the moment because they are mostly mid to close up and macro shots. This means I could use body isolation type dance to only film one body part at a time dancing so that it isn't too jarring.

Now having worked out the kind of movements and shots I want to fit in with what I already have planned I then met with the Storyboard Artist to brief her on these. Here are the notes we both left with having planned out what else needs to be drawn and also some minor changes to some of the images she already provided me with:

We have agreed that she will provide me with these new images within a week so I will next week then be able to re-assemble my storyboard to add the new shots and changes and hopefully this will really help me show a much clearer idea of what the final piece will be like.
