Resolution 1, Receiving and Building the Storyboard

So after briefing the storyboard artist Chloe last week on all the visuals and how many frames I needed she then provided me with all 27 of the images she had hand drawn for me to build into storyboard. Here are her original images she provided me with which I absolutely loved:

I then took all her images and had a brainstorming session with Sugini my DOP about how the visuals on this piece can be progressed and arranged. We still want to show my journey through separation and my parents divorce in each stage but also have overall imagery as well to keep the flow and interest. We have kept it basic for now as in the editing stage will be when more detailed decisions will be made but here is the storyboard that I built:

This storyboard has now given me confidence in my visuals which prior to this were only written down. being able to see them makes me confident in their ability to communicate the idea through this use of symbolism and also gives me and the crew a much better idea of how we will work to make these a reality.
