Beginning to Develop my Experimental Film Idea

After delivering my presentation on my experimental idea to do with anthropomorphised shoes I was informed a few days later that my idea had been chosen by the teachers as one that would actually be made. However only on the condition that I made it much more experimental and less animated or in other words less 'Disney'. I needed to get myself a group together to work with on this idea and once I had spoken to class about it I found out the people who were most interested in my idea who wanted to work in my group. These were Katherine, Mary and Umor who all approached me asking to work on my idea which I was more than willing to except. We knew very quickly off though that because we were made to make it more experimental we needed to have a tutorial with the teacher to discuss how we could do this. Here are the notes I took from that initial tutorial:

The ideas which we like the most from this tutorial that we really wanted to act upon were that we defiantly didn't want to show any faces and just feet/legs walking in the shoes. we also knew that we wanted our piece to be very playful and have the personality of people expressed through the shoes. We also really like the approach we came up with for sound and how instead of just generic music we could make our own sound track using sounds from the shoes to create more of an abstract piece. I am really happy with this tutorial and it has given us a lot to considered in our next group meeting.
